University of Northumbria – Entry Requirements

Requirements for different courses vary and you should visit the University of Northumbria’s International website, where you will find the requirements for each course and how these requirements transfer to the educational framework in your country. Remember that you will need to be able to speak English to gain the most from your student experience at the University of Northumbria. The University of Law – Entry Requirements

As well as the appropriate academic qualifications required to enter the University of Law’s LLB, GDL, and MA law courses, the international applicant will have to show proof of fluency in spoken and written English. From 2018 the University of Law began to offer seven and twelve-week pre-sessional English courses for its undergraduate and postgraduate students. Students who have the equivalent to a UK degree from what is classified as a majority English speaking country need not produce proof of their English fluency. It is important for you to remember that you will require fluent spoken and written English if you intend to study at Coventry University. However, if you are not yet quite up to standard, then do not fear as the university offers an extensive range of pre-sessional courses, which will raise your English up to the required standard.
